Vienna, VA – August 21, 2012 — For the fifth consecutive year, leading Services Provider and Technology Integrator MicroTech placed on Inc. Magazine’s list of the 500 fastest growing companies in the United States. The annual Inc. 500 ranks private businesses by their growth in revenue over a three year period and compares that percentage against the nation’s top driving forces in business today.
This noteworthy five year accomplishment earns MicroTech an induction into the prestigious Inc. 500 Hall of Fame – an elite group of five-time award winners. MicroTech President & CEO, Tony Jimenez, is featured in an article titled “Hail to the Chief" in Inc. Magazine’s September issue for this achievement. The article introduces the “Small Business Person of the Year”, Tony Jimenez, as their newest member of this exclusive group. MicroTech is the only company to be inducted in 2012.
MicroTech has a 777.3 percent growth rate since it first appeared on the 500 List in 2008. Making the list five years in a row demonstrates MicroTech's significant achievement in ranking as one of the most rapidly-growing private companies in the United States. The fast growing Hispanic-Owned business had $342 million in revenue this past year and is strategically positioned for continued growth.
“I am honored to be included amongst the top performers,” said Jimenez when asked about being elected to the Hall of Fame, “MicroTech is fortunate to remain in a growth state during this tough economy. To sustain growth we continually increase our technology services, maximize knowledge and put those innovative ideas towards new and improved capabilities.”
Inc. magazine Editor Eric Schurenberg stated, "Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is.”
MicroTech provides Technology Services, Network Systems Integration, Product Solutions, Cloud Computing, Unified Communications & Collaboration, Cyber Security, Mobility, and Social Media Solutions as well as leadership/management skills courses, business simulations and vital industry certifications as part of MicroTech University, to commercial enterprises, along with the public sector — managing more than half-a-million technology users daily.
