One such product at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus is scrubEx®, is offered by MicroTech and IPA as a subscription and as a capital acquisition. The scrubEx® product line offers the perfect surgical scrub distribution solution. Its innovative enhancements are designed to re-engineer scrub management and distribution for customers in Federal, State and Local Governments, including Department of Defense, Department of Health and Human Services, and the Veterans Health Administration hospitals and health care facilities. Over 1,000 hospitals have already installed scrubEx® to help lower costs, improve service, lower and in many cases even prevent the risk of hospital-acquired infections.

Another IPA medical product, alEx, provides secure and fully covered linen eliminating unauthorized users; driving down replacement and processing costs – customers decrease total linen costs by an average of 25%. Restocking alerts are automatically sent to linen management staff when alEx needs attention, increasing nurse satisfaction and eliminating the need to hoard linen in patient rooms. Plus, linen is always covered promoting infection prevention.
MicroTech and another partner, TouchPoint Medical, have introduced a new and innovative telemedicine solution called Cart as a Service. Telehealth is a game changer and has emerged as a critical component of the healthcare crisis solution.Telehealth holds the promise to significantly impact some of the most challenging problems of our current healthcare system and allow hospitals and medical facilities to provide access to care using a cost effective delivery system that has the ability to bring additional medical resources to bear without increasing to additional doctors, nurses and other medical professionals. Telehealth changes the current paradigm of care and allows for improved access and improved health outcomes while lowering the risk.
