Reggie Reed, Chief Growth Officer (CGO)

Reggie Van Reed is the Chief Growth Officer for MicroTech. He is an accomplished sales and business development professional with several decades of experience in the technology sector. Mr. Reed started his career working in wireless professional services selling turn-key RF Engineering Services and managing negotiations for base station/tower site acquisitions. After a decade of successfully managing sales, and hundreds of deployments with wireless infrastructure companies, Mr. Reed transitioned from his role at Lucent Technologies/Bell Labs, as a C-Band Manager, to the software industry, initially managing a commercial sales team at ManTech Systems Solutions, then moving to global software sales at CA Technologies’ in 2003.
Mr. Reed’s career in the software sector now spans 24 years and includes enterprise sales, alliance management, business development, and partner sales positions at global vendors like Oracle, Hewlett-Packard Software and Splunk. In 2009, Mr. Reed moved from commercial enterprise to U.S. Government focused positions working high visibility and leadership positions responsible for managing Global Systems Integrators and partner ecosystems. While working at VMware as a Client Director, and ServiceNow as a Product Line Sales Manager – ITOM, Mr. Reed co-led successful program capture within the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Sector. Most recently, Mr. Reed managed the public sector partner business in the U.S. and Canada for New Relic and Diligent Corporation. Mr. Reed has also been an active board member working with pre-revenue and start-up companies like Level 42 AI and Exsaleration, helping architect unique go-to-market strategies aimed at bringing AI Native and Digital Health product offerings to market, acquiring light-house customers, and recruiting partners.
Mr. Reed studied communications and history at California State University – Northridge and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Marketing at Pacific Western University. Mr. Reed was also selected to participate in two corporate-sponsored leadership programs that partnered with NYU and U-Penn, Wharton School of Business.
