James “JB” Burnett, Vice President of Cyber, Technology & Operations
James “JB” Burnett Sr. is an IT Professional with more than 18yrs experience, supporting the Federal Government, Commercial Real Estate, Health Care and Private sector. His Information Technological prowess has set him apart as a true innovator in the industry, consistently achieving breakthroughs that redefine the boundaries of IT Networking, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security and Risk Management.
JB’s work at DHS & TSA formulated IT Cloud solutions to coordinate and execute various Hybrid/ Cloud Application Deployments projects while enhancing the Cloud financial tracking systems to conduct audits and oversight for the Office of Engineering Division. In Health Care IT he has led multiple turnkey projects while partnering with prime contractors on the 24×7 IT Transformation Project for INOVA Hospitals, and its 5 Medical campuses throughout the Northern Virginia area. In the commercial space, his collaborative efforts in the 3-way merger and expansion of the Cassidy Turley CRE, DTZ Global and Cushman & Wakefield real estate firms formed one Global enterprise network infrastructure.
JB has dedicated himself to advanced studies at Harvard University of Massachusetts for his certification in CS50 Python Artificial Intelligence, holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Aquinas College of Newton/Wellesley, while achieving certificates in Best Practices in Information Technology & Risk Management at Northeastern University of Boston. JB loves to give back his community by volunteering his time and knowledge base sharing with inspiring students at Charter Schools in NE Washington, DC. He’s a proud father of 3 children while introducing the newest addition to his family, JB3.
