MicroTech served as technical and operational Subject-Matter-Experts to provide systems design, development, integration, consolidation, operations and maintenance and support to the existing classified/unclassified domain infrastructures of the Directorate of Information Management (DOIM) group. Initiatives were directly related to elevated security posture of Infocon 4.


  • Development and deployment of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) secure remote access Single Sign On HSPD12 Initiative
  • Design and implementation of the Exchange 2003 Backend and Bridgehead Infrastructure to facilitate migration of Mission Critical Email Systems from an Exchange 5.5 Environment
  • Instituted e-mail archive solution – Symantec E-Vault


MicroTech successfully migrated 14,000 mailboxes from 15-plus separate Exchange 5.5 environments to a new infrastructure, becoming the IT Services provider for most of the Federal agencies connected with Fort Belvoir.
