MicroTech, an EMC Velocity Premier Partner, is out in full force showcasing their private Cloud Automated Advanced Virtual Environment this week at EMC World at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. MicroTech combined their environmentally-friendly, scalable data center, the MicroPodd®, with EMC VNXe storage, Cisco UCS, and CA Technologies’ AppLogic® software to produce the robust private cloud computing platform. The advanced virtual environment is on display now at Booth 756 in the Solutions Pavilion.
The EMC World Global Partner Summit kicked off the symposium Monday with new partner opportunities and initiatives introduced by EMC executives Joe Tucci, David Goulden, Howard Elias, Terry Breen, Bill Scannell, Art Coviello, Paul Maritz, Gregg Ambulos, and Jeremy Burton.
Burton, who is EMC’s Executive Vice President for Product Operations and Marketing, said the top three drives for IT spending in 2013 are cloud, big data, and security. These line up perfectly with MicroTech’s capabilities and recent initiatives.
Representing MicroTech at the show is Tony Jimenez, President & CEO; Hayley Miller, Alliances & Channel Relations Manager; Jonathan Luciano, Senior Consultant for Virtualization Solutions; and Dave Papp, Principal Consultant for Datacenter Solutions.
The event includes numerous keynote speakers, panels, and breakout sessions about IT trends and modern uses in addition to all of the outstanding demos and ultra-modern tech in the Solutions Pavilion. The weeklong “epic storage event” brings together thought leaders, subject matter experts, and engineers to lead this transformation to a software induced virtualization revolution.
