MicroTech CEO Tony Jimenez was presented today with a commemorative token of appreciation from the Fisher House in support of a recent successful charity event. MicroTech made a generous $5,000 donation to an all-day Bluegrass music event last month in Severn, Maryland that included about 80 musicians, and well over 400 people in attendance. Organizers raised $16,000 at last year's event, and hope to top that this year.

The Fisher House provides a "home away from home" for military families to be near loved ones during hospitalization for an injury, illness, or disease.

The presentation was made by Neil Hamrick, a musician with the "Wednesday Night Garage Jammers," and representative of the Fisher House in Maryland. "We deeply appreciate what you did to help us help a very worthy cause," Hamrick said.

The donation came from the MicroTech Philanthropy Fund; the charity arm of the organization.
