MicroTech CTO, Darren House, recently participated as a panelist on a Fed News Radio show titled. “How Cloud Computing Can Support Agency Data.” This show was hosted by Tom Temin and was sponsored by NetApp and Avent. The panel discussed how agencies can devise strategies for a data-centric approach to cloud computing. It will present information they need to know to gain the benefits of cloud computing in hybrid environments with good data practices in a cost effective way.
“This panel brought together the deputy CIO of Census, CIO of FDA and the CISO of HHS, NetApp Systems Engineering Manager and MicroTech’s CTO to discuss data gravity in cloud deployments, the importance of application performance and its relationship to data locality and how to ensure data integrity, availability and safety in hybrid cloud models,” said MicroTech’s CTO, Darren House.
