Vienna VA, June11, 2009— MicroTech , a leading Information Technology provider and systems integrator, recently announced it has been awarded a contract under the United States Army Aviation and Missile Command’s (AMCOM) Programmatic Domain.  Associated work includes resource management support, cost estimating and analysis, schedule development and assessment, program management, plans and integration, strategic planning analysis, international program support, security assistance program support, and operations research and systems analysis.

This U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command Expedited Professional and Engineering Support Services (AMCOM EXPRESS) contract is a multiple award Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) program leveraging a GSA schedule to provide comprehensive management and support services to numerous Army facilities and groups. There is a $2 billion cap on products and services provided under the contract.

The Army Aviation and Missile Command is responsible for the life cycle management of army missile, helicopter, unmanned ground vehicle and unmanned aerial vehicle weapon systems. The Army branch manages the acquisition and sustainment support for aviation and missile systems.
