Vienna, VA, August 3, 2007A team led by MicroTech, LLC, a premier Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and 8(a) Small Business has been selected by the U.S. Air Force for the Contracted Advisory and Assistance Services III (CAAS III) program. The team will compete for task orders under the five-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, which has a total combined value of $400 million to the eight teams that will compete for awards.

CAAS III gives MicroTech the opportunity to support the warfighter by providing a wide range of services to the Air Combat Command (ACC) at Langley Air Force Base, VA and numerous other ACC Bases. These activities include management and professional services; studies analyses and evaluations; and, engineering and technical services.

"The award of this contract establishes MicroTech as a first-tier provider to the Air Force and solidifies the strong relationship we have with the Air Combat Command," said Tony Jimenez, President and CEO of MicroTech.

The ACC organizes, trains, equips and maintains combat-ready forces for rapid deployment and employment while ensuring strategic air defenses are ready for peacetime air sovereignty and wartime air defense. The command operates fighter, bomber, reconnaissance, battle management and rescue aircraft, as well as command, control, communications and intelligence systems.

"We are excited about continuing our great relationship with ACC. CAAS III is a great vehicle and we look forward to the opportunity to deliver MicroTech’s extensive systems engineering, logistics, systems planning, concept exploration, and requirements analysis expertise in support of the ACC mission" said David Coker, MicroTech’s VP and CAAS III Program Manager.

In addition to MicroTech, other team members include Apptis (http://www.apptis.com) and Oxley Enterprises, Inc (http://www.oxleyenterprises.com).

Work on the CAAS III program will be performed at Langley Air Force Base, Hurlburt Field, FL., and other ACC locations.
