At the Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Virginia this Saturday, MicroTech sponsored Kris “Savage” McCray will enter the octagon as the first welterweight Main Event fighter to fight in the Cage Fury Fighting Championship (CFFC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. McCray will duke it out against Mike Wade in this premier CFFC 18 event. Not only will this be Virginia’s first CFFC fight, but MicroTech’s own President & CEO, Tony Jimenez, will be working McCray’s corner.
McCray is an Ultimate Fighter Season 11 finalist. Hailing from Toms River, New Jersey, he has a professional record of 8-3. His opponent, Wade, stands at 3-2.
McCray has been a part of multiple military hospital visits with MicroTech including the most recent visit to Fort Belvoir in Virginia earlier this year. Along with Frankie Edgar, Jim Miller, Aaron Simpson, Joe Lauzon, and Justin Hickey, McCray met with Army personnel and their families, toured the facility, and signed autographs. The group attended the Fort Belvoir Warrior Combative Training Center ribbon cutting ceremony as well as toured Fort Belvoir Community Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Complex, meeting with the medical staff and with soldiers undergoing rehabilitation.
