MicroTech Participates in CHESS Information Exchange

Ron Lehto, VP of Proposals and newly hired Jim Sweeney, Sr. Director of Business Development, represented MicroTech at the Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) Information Exchange this week. The event was hosted by Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) and held at the Wallace Theatre in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

MicroTech has been a CHESS IDIQ contract holder for the past three years and has completed hundreds of task orders for the Department of Defense at locations throughout the U.S.. Jeannine Willingham, MicroTech’s IDIQ Program Manager, highlighted the CHESS program as extremely user-friendly and commented “the solutions we have been able to provide to our warfighters have enabled them to meet their mission requirements in a timely, cost-effective, and innovative manner”.

The purpose of this week’s event was to facilitate Army and Industry collaboration and information exchange on the CHESS program as well as the upcoming CHESS requirements to include Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – 3 Services (ITES-3S) and Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software (ITES-SW). The presentation also included a CHESS overview and a panel discussion on Strategic Sourcing of Information Technology within the Army.
