DiversityBusiness.com announced today that MicroTech has again been recognized as a "Top Business" as part of their annual national-level competition highlighting privately-owned business.

Over 1,300,000 businesses participated in the14th annual business survey. Winning companies were selected based upon criteria including: business profile, website, and sales.

"Small businesses, especially ones like MicroTech that predominantly support the public sector, are facing challenging times in today’s fiscal environment and fast-paced technology solutions sector. This makes the recognition of past performance and sustained success that much more important. DiversityBusiness.com has highlighted MicroTech throughout our decade of existence as a standard bearer for veteran and minority-owned firms and for that we are grateful," remarked Jay White, MicroTech’s VP for Business Development.

The award program was established in 1999 to champion America’s entrepreneurial spirit. The "Top Businesses in America" program honors individuals who have established themselves as a world class community of entrepreneurs that continue to stimulate economic growth in America. Major brand sponsors include Apple, AT&T, Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola, Office Depot, Toyota, Cisco, and Verizon, among others. The goal each year of the “Top Businesses in America ” program is to continue to celebrate another year of innovation, progression and growth and to raise the profile of entrepreneurs who remain committed in strengthening the competitive global landscape and rebuilding the nation’s future. The annual list is coveted by government agencies, corporations, and educational institutions that desire to increase opportunities with privately-held businesses.
