This morning, MicroTech President & CEO Tony Jimenez was a guest speaker for Professor Joseph Guzman’s Human Resources Master’s degree class at Michigan State University. Jimenez presented to the class via Skype from his office at MicroTech’s Headquarters in Vienna, VA.

The students were bright-eyed and came prepared with questions, ready to benefit from all of Jimenez’ entrepreneurial knowledge about HR and business in general. Jimenez spoke about his experience in finding, developing, and keeping talented professionals. He also talked about real life topics including the ever looming of sequestration and the effects it has already had on businesses.

Dr. Guzman, Assistant Professor at the School of Human Resources & Labor Relations at MSU, first approached Jimenez about being a guest lecturer in 2011. Jimenez accepted, lecturing on the topic of "Building a Successful Team by Choosing Winning Personnel.” It went so well that a little over a year later, Guzman asked Jimenez to speak to his new class of MSU graduate students.

I really enjoyed guest speaking to a great group of graduate students over at Michigan State. You can tell they are eager to learn and apply their knowledge. I’m glad I was able to speak to them again this year and look forward to guest speaking for Dr. Guzman in the future,” said Jimenez.
