MicroTech’s President and CEO, Tony Jimenez, was selected to be a member of CompTIA’s prestigious Partner500 Advisory Council. By accepting the exclusive invitation, Jimenez will continue his work to progress CompTIA’s mission, which is to “Advance the Global IT Industry.”
CompTIA is the IT industry’s leading non-profit association. They educate and honor students with certificates, advocate for the IT field, and provide philanthropy efforts. Annette Taber, VP of Channel Strategies at CompTIA, relayed the company’s interest in Jimenez. She said, “…Tony has the background and strategic vision to join this elite group.”
On the council Jimenez will validate and support IT educational programs and certifications, concentrating on vertical markets and business models, technologies, and management. He will also promote and support the IT industry and the Creating IT Futures Foundation.
“MicroTech’s mission aligns perfectly with CompTIA’s objectives”, remarked Jimenez, “Our shared vision is to take technology further.”
Other new members joining Jimenez on the Partner500 Advisory Council are George Pashardis, RVP Sales at Eplus and Bruce Enright, CEO of Tallgrass Technologies.
