All of MicroTech’s sponsored fighters came out with a win this past weekend at UFC 162. In the title fight of the evening, Chris “All American” Weidman ended Anderson Silva’s Middleweight Champion reign. Silva had been the Middleweight champ for over seven years, beating 16 consecutive opponents before Weidman.
“I felt I was destined for this. I imagined it so many times, but it still feels surreal,” said Weidman after the fight.
Right before the main event, Frankie Edgar won by unanimous decision against Charles Oliveira. The former lightweight champion now competing as a featherweight came out with a win in his first non-title fight since 2009.
Edson Barboza also came out with a win knocking out opponent Rafaello Oliveira in the second round with leg kicks.
Weidman, Edgar and Barboza all had the MicroKloud logo prominently displayed on their shorts.
