MicroTech and Avaya recently held a strategic partner training session in the MicroTech Headquarters’ training center in Vienna, VA. The focus of this initial on-boarding session was product familiarization and design and sales certification for Avaya’s newest Unified Communications solution, IP Office.

IP Office delivers an engaging experience for voice, video, and mobility on virtually any device. It is simple enough to run on an appliance, powerful enough to support 2,000 users with virtualized software. (More information on IP Office can be found here.)

MicroTech extended its diverse partnership lineup of major technology manufacturers by adding Avaya to their line of products. Avaya is a major player in the Unified Communications and Networking arena and has been a partner of MicroTech’s since last Fall. Avaya set themselves apart from other manufacturers with their successful deployment of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games infrastructure.

Jerry Nappi (MicroTech’s VP of Telecommunications) coordinated this joint training session. Leading the Avaya contingent were Susan Svensson, Channel Account Manager for Federal Government business, and Lucia Coffey, Channel Account Manager for Commercial/SLED business. “This type of direct interface and hands-on training between partners,” emphasized Nappi, “is what makes the MicroTech-Avaya relationship so successful. Combining Avaya’s solutions with MicroTech’s delivery capability allows us to better meet customer requirements in both the public and private sector.”
